A word on a page was read wrong

Open the book and tap the page to see its words. Fix them and narrate that page again. If the whole page is off, a clearer, flatter photo usually helps: add the page again from the book's screen with Add pages.

The narration stopped after three pages

That's on purpose: a book's first narration pauses after three pages so you can check the words and the voice before the rest is made. On the book's screen, tap Narrate … pages to finish it.

Can I change the voice or how it reads?

Yes. On the book's screen choose another narrator (each has a sample to listen to), or open the reading settings and describe how the storyteller should read — for example “a slow, sleepy pace”. Pages already narrated keep their take until you narrate them again.

Where did my books go?

AudioTales creates your account automatically, without an email address. If you signed out, reinstalled the app or moved to a new phone, the app started a new, empty account, and the old books can't be opened from it. Write to us with the titles and roughly when you made them and we'll see what we can do, but we may not be able to recover them.

Credits and what things cost

Your profile shows your balance, when the next credits expire, and what each narration used. Credits last three months from the day you receive them, even if you cancel a subscription.

Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by your app store: on iPhone and iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps your remaining credits until they expire.
